Az: Alzheimer's

This design represents Alzheimer’s Disease and other experiences of dementia.  Alzheimer’s affects approximately 10% of people over the age of 65.  Alzheimer’s, over time, steals our loved one’s identity, and deeply wounds their family of caregivers.  

The purple center symbolizes the sacred. A crossroads of red and blue underscores the calm and conflict the individuals and family experience, searching for harmony in the balance of hope and acceptance.  The lavender represents the vitality of youth and vibrance that is untouched by troubled times.  Aqua communicates a period of transition, serenity and strengthening of the relationship to a higher power.  The cool gray outer border embodies the preservation of dignity in this phase of life.
